Learn basic oceanography as it applies to the local environment, including 1) species identification; 2) quadrat surveys; 3) transect surveys; 4) experimental design; and 5) basic statistics.
We work AAUS (American Association of Underwater Sciences) Organizational Member (OM) to provide training and experiences that mirror other AAUS OMs within the organization. This training and authorization can be transferred to other reciprocal universities, NOAA, National Park Service, and consulting companies.
