Earn SCUBA certifications and training towards Science Diving while participating in our one, two, and three week Field Courses! We are pairing up with local AAUS (American Academy of Underwater Sciences) Organizational Members to provide training for participation in MERROW Foundation projects. Dates have been provided, but we can WORK with you and your schedule to get your training completed! Just let us know. We can even start you at the beginning with Open Water!
One Week Field Course Participants
Participate in an ongoing MERROW Foundation algal monitoring project while earning the following:
- DAN DFA Pro certification
- PADI Advance Open Water Scuba Diver certification
- AAUS Science Diver-in-Training Authorization
- 10 total dives
- Gear and Lodging included
- Participation in course will allow for preferential selection during March international travel
TOTAL COST: $1800 starting June 12, 2023 or July 10, 2023
Two Week Field Course Participants
Participate in ongoing MERROW Foundation algal monitoring and coral restoration projects while earning the following:
- DAN DFA Pro certification
- PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver certification
- PADI Rescue Diver certification
- PADI Nitrox Diver certification
- AAUS Science Diver to 30ft Authorization
- 19 total dives
- Gear and Lodging included
TOTAL COST: $3400 starting June 12, 2023 or July 10, 2023
Three Week Field Course Participants
Participate in ongoing MERROW Foundation algal monitoring, coral restoration, and lionfish population management projects while earning the following:
- DAN DFA Pro certification
- PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver certification
- PADI Rescue Diver certification
- PADI Nitrox Diver certification
- PADI U/W Photographer certification
- REEF Fish ID certification
- REEF Invertebrate ID certification
- AAUS Science Diver to 60ft Authorization
- 33 total dives
